There’s nothing like seeing a product up-close; being inspired by colour and texture, and understanding sustainability and safety credentials – it’s imperative to the specification process. That’s why we’re delighted to have joined some of the world’s leading commercial interior brands at Material Source Glasgow.

As the first and only ‘plantscaping’ company at Material Source Glasgow, we’re excited to showcase the transformative power of greenery in interior design here. Over the last few months, we’ve been hard at work designing our pod, as well as kitting-out the entire studio with an abundance of greenery.

We’re delighted to reveal we will be hosting a very special event on Wednesday the 17th of April to officially launch our partnership with Material Source. Taking place from 5:30pm until 8pm, guests can explore the studio, enjoy food from Launch Coffee, and leave feeling inspired with your very own terrarium from our workshop.

• 5:30-6:00 Reception: Our friendly team will be ready to welcome you with a drink and take you on a tour of the extraordinary interior brands sharing the studio space.

• 6:00-6:15 Ribbon-Cutting: We’ll then gather at our ‘pod’ where our Director, Adrian Byne, will say a few words about the work we do and our connection with Glasgow, followed by a ribbon-cutting to celebrate the official launch of our pod.

• 18:15-19:15 Terrarium Workshop: Discover the art of creating your very own mini ecosystem with a Terrarium workshop lead by our skilled technicians. Learn the secrets to building and maintaining these beautiful green worlds, as well as deepening your knowledge around the power of biophilia in interior design. The terrarium you create is yours to cherish and take home, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of nature wherever you choose.

  

  

  

• 19:15 Food from Launch Coffee: We’ll finish our launch event with a range of delicious treats from Launch Coffee, a social enterprise providing meals to children in need in Glasgow. Make sure you grab a goody bag before you leave and capture some snaps of the moss wall we’ve crafted specially for this event, featuring a Glasgow icon we’re sure you’ll recognise.

Meet & Work

Every Material Source Studio includes The Hub area – this is a space that’s completely yours to work from, meet clients, and present, in beautifully productive surroundings. What’s more, there’s great coffee, literally, on tap.

No booking for this space is required for architects, designers, and property professionals. Just turn up and stay as long as you like.

What’s on

Material Source Glasgow has packed programme of events lined up for 2024, including a world-class seminar series. This follows a hugely successful two-year run in Manchester, with host Material Source director, David Smalley, inviting industry experts to voice their thoughts on topics including sustainability, the world of property, and workplace.

In addition to this, we will also have a regular calendar of our own events hosted by the Benholm team, including lunch & learns, CPDs, socials, talks, workshops, and much more.
