Job Purpose:

Support the development of the professional marketing function within Benholm Group, ensuring marketing achieves its goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execution of the company social media strategy
  • Support the company content strategy through website management
  • Execution of communications strategy including email newsletters, social media, etc.
  • Analysis of the results of all marketing activity and maintenance of marketing KPIs
  • Brand management and consistency
  • Support internal marketing and communications

Role Description

  • Executing marketing plans and overseeing related collateral
  • Creating and implementing campaign plans
  • Planning and organising events
  • Measure marketing effectiveness, both internally and externally, collating information on ROI and providing reports along with monthly marketing reports
  • Producing briefs for creative, digital and PR
  • Ensuring pre-planned media, PR and marketing plans are delivered
  • Overall management of multi-channel mix spanning online and offline channels (including website content; SEO; PPC; social media; mobile; DM, email & SMS; advertising; PR; shows & events; and sponsorship)
  • Manage lead generation program
  • Support initiatives to cross-sell solutions to existing clients
  • Agency liaison
  • Maintain integrity of contact data for marketing purposes, and integrate non-customer data (such as bought-in data) to ensure there is a single, comprehensive and maintained marketing database
  • Help establish a clear market proposition and ensure the brand always reflects this
  • Manage agency relationships
  • Research target markets & competitor’s marketing
  • Support internal communications

Experience / Skills Required:

  • Marketing qualification
  • 2-3 years in a similar marketing role
  • An understanding of inbound marketing, content marketing, and conversion optimisation
  • Competent in the use of CRM databases and CMS systems, especially HubSpot and WordPress
  • Understanding of PPC and SEO methodologies
  • Experienced in the creative use of social media and a solid understanding of social management tools for scheduling etc. Able to demonstrate creativity in post content and ability to interact and engage on different platforms to proactively grow relevant follows
  • Some experience in graphic design and the use of platforms such as Canva, Photoshop, Adobe In Design, etc.
  • Proficient at creating, editing and using images and videos
  • An interest in plants and nature would be helpful
  • Located with easy commuting distance to our Falkirk office as this role requires frequent team interaction and therefore needs to be predominantly office-based

We have an immediate vacancy for someone to join our exterior planting team to assist with planting up and caring for hundreds of hanging baskets and window boxes. 

Are you enthusiastic and experienced in working with seasonal plants and flowers? 

This rewarding role includes the planting, installation, and maintenance of hanging baskets, window boxes and other exterior planters throughout Central Scotland.  Other planting work and installation etc to support the needs of the business may also be required.

Recruiting now for the summer period which runs till the end of September / early October. 

42.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday.  Could lead onto a full-time job if mutually agreed.

  • Experience in seasonal planting and/or a flair for planting design would be very beneficial
  • Very early morning watering rounds for public areas
  • Includes some stepladder / ladder work
  • Training will be provided
  • Transit van size vehicles provided
  • Clean driving license required
