9–10 September 2026 | The Boiler Shop, Newcastle
We’re delighted to be a confirmed partner of Work Beyond Walls, a brand-new workplace event that’s challenging conventional thinking about how we design, use and experience our working environments.
Unlike a traditional exhibition, Work Beyond Walls transforms Newcastle’s historic Boiler Shop into a fully functioning workplace for two days. Visitors won’t simply walk around exhibition stands – they’ll work, collaborate, attend workshops, contribute live feedback and experience products in the environments they were designed for. Every conversation and interaction helps build a live dataset exploring how we really work.
The programme will explore topics including:
Attendees can also take part in workshops, hear from industry thought leaders and experience a range of workplace settings created by leading manufacturers and specialists from across the built environment.
As one of the event’s confirmed partners, Benholm will be showcasing how plants can help create healthier, more engaging workplaces. For over 30 years, we’ve helped organisations across the UK use biophilic design to improve wellbeing, support productivity and transform commercial spaces, making Work Beyond Walls a natural fit for our team.
Whether you’re an architect, interior designer, workplace consultant, HR professional, facilities manager or business leader, Work Beyond Walls promises a fresh way of thinking about workplace design—placing evidence, collaboration and real-world experience at the heart of the conversation.
We look forward to seeing you in Newcastle.
