Last week, we welcomed the team from 56three Architects to Benholm HQ for an informal afternoon focused on planting, materials and application.
The visit began with lunch, followed by a hands-on session in our greenhouse led by our Head of Maintenance, James. This gave the team an opportunity to see planting in a working environment and discuss the practical considerations involved in day-to-day care and long-term performance.
The session continued in the boardroom, where a range of planting samples and materials were laid out for discussion. Conversations covered how planting is specified, delivered and maintained across different project types, with plenty of opportunity for questions and shared insight. We finished the afternoon with a quiz to put everyone’s knowledge to the test, with Amy Wootton coming out on top.
It’s been a lovely afternoon with you and the Benholm team, thank you for the invite!
We’ve come back to the office feeling refreshed and inspired.
Visits like this form part of how we engage with the architecture and design community, creating space for open discussion, shared learning and a closer look at how planting is delivered in practice. If that sounds like something your team would enjoy, we’d love to hear from you: mail@benholm.com
