The Social is part of the G1 Group. As part of their ongoing efforts to continually improve the customer experience, the team planned to undertake a complete refurbishment of the outdoor dining space.
“We’ve had our outside area for three years and it was getting a bit tired looking. We wanted to freshen it up because there is a lot of competition in the area and we wanted to exceed customer expectations by making it a little bit special.”
Various designs, themes and layouts were considered. Significant input was provided by the Bacardi drinks group regarding the use of the Grey Goose branding across the whole site.
Once the final scheme was agreed work began on pulling together all the various aspects of the project so that the final installation could be completed in one visit. On the day of the installation, an early morning start saw the removal of all the old furniture and the swift installation of the new furniture. The complete transformation took under three hours – before Glasgow had even started its day!
The management team at The Social were delighted with the new space. It not only gave a fresh new look to the area, attracting many more new and regular customers, but it also provided extensive marketing and social media opportunities to promote the restaurant to an even larger audience.
