THE BRIEF:
We were delighted to collaborate with Form Design with the fitout of Seebyte’s Orchard Brae House office in Edinburgh. We were briefed to create leafy, lush cabinet top planters in a specific RAL colour, with uniform planting that was hardy and easy to maintain.
THE SOLUTION:
Cabinet-top planters bring health benefits where they’re needed most. Adding living plants to office storage, they not only look fantastic, but they also provide the benefits of office plants, bringing the outdoors inside without taking up valuable floor space.
36 fibreglass cabinet top planters were fabricated to the exact size of the cabinet below and finished in the specific matt orange RAL colour ordered. These were selected as they are 100% waterproof and more cost effective than fitting a waterproof liner to standard cabinet planters.
THE RESULTS:
Live Sansevieria Kirkii Friends plants were densely planted into each container for a full, lush look whilst providing privacy for this high security office space. Also known as the snake plant, it’s an air purifying hero. Strong and robust, it’s an ideal office plant.
