The Brief:
Working with our friends at Surface ID design company, we were introduced as plant supplier for this innovative project.
Located in Ellon’s Balmacassie Industrial Estate, the mega-sized two-floor DogTap bar features 30 different taps, shuffleboards, an events space, a beer and merchandise shop, and an outdoor beer garden. It will also house the first beer museum in the area, too.
THE SOLUTION:
Metal trough planters and ceiling hung planters had been fabricated ready for us to fill with a selection of trailing plants such as Ivy and trailing ferns.
We designed the greenery to compliment the Brewdog brand so nothing too floral or colourful, just wild, lush greenery. We supplied and installed a huge 60 metres of mixed trailing artificial plants with fire rated foliage for the bar area, kitchen pass wall, and washrooms.
Outside we supplied industrial style steel planters with riveted corners, planted with leafy live Laurel bushes to welcome visitors and staff.
