Held in Edinburgh's EICC, Turing Fest is Europe’s largest cross-functional tech conference, bringing together people from all sectors of the industry to learn, share ideas and ultimately access resources and networks that will help their businesses grow. Attracting around 3000 delegates, most of the world’s biggest tech influencers were either in attendance or represented by guest speakers.
The Benholm Group were delighted to be involved with The Bureau Networking Lounge alongside our friends at Bureau Plus. Having partnered with them at the hugely successful Night Garden event in Glasgow, Brodies Tennis Invitational at Gleneagles and their Hub Launch earlier this year, it was great to catch up and collaborate again. Bureau have already completed several major Tech workspace projects including Skyscanner, Trip.com, Autorek and GoCardless, so were perfectly equipped to advise and support the many new and growing businesses kitting out new offices, refurbishing existing, or upscaling.
The Bureau Networking Lounge provided a relaxed setting for delegates to catch up on work, have informal meetings or just enjoy drinks and nibbles with other attendees. We were part of a tailored selection of products particularly suited to the varying demands of tech environments. These go hand in hand with biophilic design. Companies including industry leaders Amazon are already yielding the many benefits of bringing the outdoors in. This trending design concept boosts productivity and creativity with employee wellness firmly at its core.
Showcasing our talent for creative planting in commercial spaces, the popular Frovi Relic Cloud attracted lots of attention. Designed as a large collaborative meeting space or work table, it turned lots of heads.
Spacestor’s Railway Carriage looked great as did their Palisades Grid, filled with lush green Benholm plants.
Muuto’s break-out and Outline Work products were showcased alongside a bespoke sit-stand/work or meeting table created by Rawside specially for the event. Attendees also enjoyed live demos of Humanscale’s ergonomic seating and desk-top tech.
All in all it was fantastic event which enjoyed some great feedback, including our gifts, the Benholm seedboms! Let us know if they bloom and blossom, we'd love it if you kept us posted using the #greenwithenvy.
We hope to see you next year!
