Nationwide service to support seamless Facilities Management contract for global engineering firm

25 Jan 2016

National facilities contract including interior and exterior plant displays

We have recently installed 135 new planters to an engineering services company with several UK offices between Exeter and Glasgow, supporting a single facilities management (FM) supplier to the global business.

Our spokesperson explains: “The company had too many suppliers which was creating a headache for communication and consistency.  We have helped to provide the company with one high standard throughout the UK as well as making it easier to manage with the provision of one single point of contact.”

The project met several environmentally-friendly objectives, for example through the use of Enviroculture: a sustainable and ecological way of growing plants using no peat whatsoever, providing stronger planting and eliminating soil-borne pests and bacteria. Benholm Group also installed Topstone containers made from recycled office equipment and finished in bespoke, brand-standard colours.

Our spokesperson continues, “We worked with each site manager and gave them the opportunity to redesign the existing planting, either within existing budgets or upgrading to a higher standard of planting design. The final installation includes, amongst others, a unique Nordik Moss wall with a Scottish thistle design for the Glasgow office, a twisted willow screen incorporating their brand colours for the London office, containers with company branding for the Stockton-on-Tees office, and a natural rock feature area for the Swindon office.”
