TEMPORARY CHRISTMAS FLORIST
We are looking for some creative people to join our busy Events Team from mid-October 2019 to mid-December 2019 to assist in the assembling and decoration of Christmas Trees and Christmas-themed displays.
Working hours can be flexible and/or part-time. Working mainly in our spacious heated glasshouses creating beautifully decorated Christmas trees and displays. An enjoyable and satisfying experience for a creative person with a flair for good design and an eye for luxury and quality.
No previous experience necessary. Just a willingness to learn and an ability to work hard to create beautiful Christmas displays. The role will also include doing some installation work on customer's premises in the latter weeks, normally working in small teams, to tight deadlines.
Own transport needed as no public transport nearby. We expect to pay around £9.00 per hour subject to experience.

Join our team of creative florists and plant display designers as a person who can fix anything anywhere! This job is very interesting and varied and involves creating the structures and framewoks for all kinds of displays so that our florists can dress them before you take them to site and install them. Anything from entrance arches to framed moss wall panels, bespoke built-in planters to high-level trailing features, giant green walls to bespoke branded signage, etc.
Suitable for someone with a skillset which includes any of the following: shopfitting, joinery, cabinetmaking, carpentry, engineering, film prop making, craft working, model making, handyman duties, etc. Additional skills needed include project management, working at height, good communication and able to work on your own or as part of a team.
As this is role includes a significant element of front-line customer facing interaction you would need to be very comfortable with our Company Culture - Be Creative, Have a Can-Do attitude, Be Caring - and able to be very flexible. Some early morning or late evenings may be required, occasional weekend work, as well as some overnight stays. We provide a fully sign-written van, so a clean, full UK driving license is essential and you must be willing to drive long distances when required.

INTERIOR PLANTS MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
If you have experience or training in the maintenance of commercial interior plant displays and are able to work anywhere in Scotland please get in touch with us.
As a member of our frontline maintenance team it is important that you are ableto reflect our Company Culture. You will be travelling throughout Scotland maintaining interior (and exterior) live plant displays; we provide a fully sign-written van, so a clean, full UK driving license is essential.
You will be watering, feeding, cleaning, weeding and pruning live plant displays and other features such as living walls, so ideally you will have experience of indoor and/or exterior plant maintenance techniques, including working at height. A knowledge of individual plant’s requirements for optimum growth in different environments would be an advantage.
We do not work on weekends unless there is something exceptional. Full time. Pay will be commensurate with experience and around £25,000 a year.

You will be responsible for the care and maintenance of exterior grounds at commercial properties. This work will involve driving vans and using small scale petrol machinery for grass cutting, hedge cutting, strimming, leaf clearing etc and weed control using pesticides.
You will be required to sometimes work alone or with other team members, and you will be responsible as team leader whether working with other staff members or temporary hired workers. Health and safety of yourself and those in your team is important, and you will be responsible for your team to ensure correct PPE is worn and equipment used correctly and safely.
Most work is in Central Scotland (mostly Glasgow and Edinburgh city centres) and there will be occasional requirements to work further afield. We do not work on weekends unless there is something exceptional. Full time. Pay will be commensurate with experience and around £20,000 to £25,000 a year.
