Bright, airy office atrium space with several large Enviroculture Ficus trees in grey stone effect eco-friendly planters

THE BRIEF:

Great Glen House in Inverness is one of the most eco-friendly buildings in Scotland and an excellent example of Biophilic Design in practice. The occupiers, Scottish Natural Heritage, wanted “planting that brought the outside, inside”.

THE SOLUTION:

Our plant experts selected the best plants most suited for the indoor environment. We were delighted to win the tender based on creating the most similar visual effect using rugged, natural-looking plants. We sourced special containers manufactured from 100% ecological materials and used the peat-free Enviroculture planting system.

THE RESULTS:

Natural, lush, leafy planting that perfectly complements Scottish Natural Heritage’s vision:

People value Scotland’s natural assets because they generate benefits for all, sustaining us and improving our economy, health, lifestyles and culture.
